Educational Mission Statement

I believe that education is a lifelong process; it is a living, breathing thing that grows within and alongside learners of all ages. As a Montessori educator, I strive to be a caring and compassionate guide as children begin to discover the inherent magic of learning. I seek to create a safe, supportive community where each child's interests, emotions, creativity, and ability are honored and respected. I hope to cultivate an environment that is a natural extension and reflection of a child's world, where everyone has the opportunity to personally connect with what they learn. Throughout this process, I see myself as a student, too, learning from the children in my care every day.
